This section gives an overview of upcoming CSAN events, alongside details of our Open Learning events which may be of interest.

Use of Pre–Paid Delegate Places By Members of the Children’s Services Advisory Network
All the events listed here can be attended by CIPFA CSAN Members using their pre-paid allocation of places (i.e. free places). Once all of your allocated free places have been ‘spent’, Members will be charged for additional delegate places at the Subscriber rate. (as detailed for each individual Course, on the schedule below)

Our Aim: To deliver the highest quality learning events that enable children services practitioners achieve better outcomes through commissioning.

At CIPFA CSAN we are very aware of two crucial factors when it comes to professional training and development:

• The vast majority of clients have too few resources (time and money) to invest in training and development
• They want training that supports the delivery of improved outcomes for their customers

We pride ourselves on following one simple rule with each and everyone of our Workstreams: we will always do the in-depth analysis for you. We will ensure the main body of the content does not merely describe an issue or topic, but will analyse it in a way that demands that in order to deliver a quality learning opportunity we must provide you with practical tool-kits and guidance, the means, the understanding and the mechanisms to move your organization forward as a direct result of your attendance at any one of our events.

The workstream programmes and open learning events have been developed following detailed consultation with subscribers and other key external stakeholders to provide all those involved or with an interest in implementing Every Child Matters agenda with the quality learning they need to deliver better, more efficient outcomes in children services.

With an annual plan of activity, we believe that our Subscriber organisations are better equipped to target personal and organizational training needs.

If you are not a subscriber, you are still welcome, however before you book at the non-subscriber rate, you may wish to consider joining to take benefit of membership benefits straight away.

Our annual plan is flexible to meet changing needs. Please contact the CSAN team to discuss our programme or to recommend topics and speakers.
