How to reduce the number of NEETs in your local area: A practical guide to improving your score for NI 117

This guide provides a range of tips and hints, illustrated by examples of good practice, to show how authorities can reduce the number of young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET). It draws on work done by organisations in those areas that have made significant progress on this issue in recent years.

As such, English councils and their partners will find it particularly relevant to National Indicator 117, which measures the number of 16-18 year-olds in the local area who are NEET.
