CIPFA Children's Services Finance Advisory Network
Children's News from:
Welcome to CIPFA Children’s Services Finance
Advisory Network (CSFAN)
The network briefs and advises subscribers on children’s services best practice, legislation, and finance and professional guidance, via events, publications, newsletters and webinars. The service also allows subscribers to network with peers from across the country.
Members can be sure that the network is at the forefront of many crucial issues that affect local government decisions on children’s services as our advisors work directly with central government officers and other public sector bodies. This happens via a variety of formal and informal working groups to examine and discuss the financial implications of proposed policy.
The government’s agenda around children’s services is leading to significant change and financial pressures for local authorities. Authorities need to focus on the real world implications for children’s services of making the wrong decisions in respect of finance, operations and policy in 2012.
CSFAN will keep you updated on key issues and provide you with the necessary information and skills to continue to deliver an effective service to customers and stakeholders in what is becoming an open and competitive market.
