She was head of audit at Ealing Council, finance portfolio manager at Breckland Council and director of corporte resources at West Dorset District Council. She is also the internal auditor for the English Rugby Football Union. She specialises in risk, governance and audit matters, in particular providing training and support to audit committees and other members across the public sector.
