The final CAA framework: Overview and analysis

On 10 February 2009, the Audit Commission and other inspectorates published the final details of Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA), the new performance framework for local public services. This briefing paper provides an overview of the new framework for the benefit of CIPFA PIN subscribers, with a particular focus on its implications for local government.
CIPFA Networks will be holding a special series of seminars on CAA in March. Places are going extremely quickly, and anyone interested in attending is advised to book as soon as possible
