The FAN mid-year subscription

The UK public sector faces a huge challenge in the years ahead. Managing budget cuts whilst maintaining staff morale and performance levels will take strong leadership and an expectation to look for new ways of doing things - and all at a time when key resources are to be fully stretched.

Now more than ever authorities need the support of an organisation that is fully geared to help with such challenges.

CIPFA's Finance Advisory Network (FAN) is offering a mid-year membership subscription. This gives access to over 50 topical network events, staff training courses and selected conferences, along with direct technical advice and guidance.

The CIPFA FAN has been built upon a clear vision and objective. It is designed to assist finance professionals, local authority members and other local authority officers who wish to work together to enhance the effectiveness of their financial management and financial reporting in supporting improved service delivery during a period of unprecedented public sector financial and policy reform.

  • I want to have a voice in how things affect me and my organisation.
  • I want to hear from those who are involved in developing guidance and new regulation.
  • I need a fully flexible membership model where anyone from my organisation can attend events, access web material and benefit from CIPFA training opportunities.
