Welcome to CIPFA Police Network
The network effectively briefs and advises police forces and authorities on legislation, Government policy, professional and financial guidance, current issues and anticipated future developments, via events, publications, newsletters and webinars. It focuses on the financial and corporate implications for forces and authorities. The service also allows subscribers to network with colleagues from other forces
Our dedicated police advisor works closely with the Home Office, HMIC, NPIA and CIPFA’s Police Panel on strategic policing and financial issues, including police reform, in order to provide the most up to date and relevant information to subscribers and provide a horizon scan of what’s new in policing.
The network is supported by our team of finance advisors, who examine and advise on financial and reporting requirements. This enables us to be at the forefront of many crucial issues that affect the local government financial accounting and reporting sector.
