Welcome to CIPFA Police Advisory Network

The CIPFA Police Advisory Network (PAN) provides police practitioners and strategic decision makers with relevant, practical and up-to-date advice during a period of unprecedented public service reform and severe constraints on resources.

The network focuses on strategic policing issues including police reform, new legislation, policy developments and a horizon scan of what's new in the world of policing. The network also identifies and analyses developments in other areas of the public sector which have implications for the police service. We work with colleagues in the Home Office, HMIC, Audit Commission, CIPFA's Police Panel and CIPFA group, in order to bring you the most up to date information and developments.
