CIPFA Police Finance Advisory Network

Welcome to the Police FAN web pages
The CIPFA Police Finance Advisory Network (Police FAN) was set up in 2002, building on the successful Finance Advisory Network and Police Advisory Network, to address the specific interests of finance practitioners in police forces and authorities.

The Police FAN aims to provide police finance professionals with practical, relevant and up-to-date advice during a period of unprecedented public service reform. The network focuses on legislative developments, Government policy and strategic policing issues that have implications for police finance professionals in forces and authorities. It offers support to members in considering the issues involved and what needs to be done to facilitate the implementation of new initiatives and legislative requirements. The network also considers issues in financial management in order to identify and share good practice.
