CIPFA Procurement Network

Procurement Helpline

Public authorities are increasingly facing legal action from bidders before, during and after procurements that can be very costly and time consuming. Practitioners also face regular issues with complex procurement issues around interpretation of procurement legislation that requires instant direction and advice.

The Procurement Network Helpline Surgery is designed to supplement your internal procurement and legal expertise by acting as a 'sounding board' or 'signpost service' for you to discuss your procurement queries and future action. Our experts will guide you through the relevant area of law, discuss most suitable course of action, offer guidance on OJEU Notices and Tender documentation and evaluation.

Having to wait for external legal advice in this area can be both time consuming and very expensive. At a time when budgets are severely constrained, The CIPFA Procurement Hotline is the most cost effective solution to your procurement problem.

The helpline is managed by Mohamed Hans, CIPFA Procurement expert who is renowned throughout the UK as one of the leading procurement experts.
