Income Generation
With serious cuts to front line services inevitable, Councils and other public bodies will be looking to raise as much extra income as possible from service charging to keep those cuts to a minimum. Authorities are looking for new or refreshed income streams to help maintain current service levels - without having to cut services or reduce their internal reserves and balances. CIPFA has a long history of helping authorities develop an approach and strategy towards income generation and providing practical support and solutions to achieve this.
