Accredited Courses

CIPFA's offer a wide range of accredited programmes focused at supporting you build core skills.

Certificate in International Public Sector Financial Reporting (Cert IPSFR)
CIPFA and the ICAEW have developed a public sector qualification that covers both International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS). This qualification can be delivered through an interactive online earning and assessment programme and comprises of approximately 70 study hours. There is also the option to complete the Certificate by attending a series of face to face workshops (prior to assessment) starting in June. The Cert IPSFR will support those in the UK public services during the current financial reporting transitions and beyond as they fully embed the resulting changes.

Open Book Accounting
CIPFA has developed a suite of accredited training in Open Book Accounting, Target Contracts and Partnering. Our courses support delegates to develop an understanding and a strategy for implementing effective open book accounting systems and processes. These courses ensure that participants are fully equipped to maximise the potential gains from the use of open book techniques and include a rigorous analysis of the potential risks associated with these practices. Delegates will learn how to create dynamic and innovative ways of operating that will support
the overall delivery of value for money within their services and will be able to understand the key skills required to develop and manage sustainable improvements to their business plans.

CIPFA Certificate in Investigative Practice (CCIP) Qualification
Delivered in conjunction with Bond Salon This qualification provides investigators with the essential legal knowledge and
skills to carry out investigation professional and secure admissible evidence. This programme is highly flexible in that modules can be taken individually on a one-off basis, during one programme of delivery or over a three-year period leading to the qualification.
