Additional dates now available for Third sector awareness training

The Local Government Improvement and Development (formerly the IDeA) has partnered with the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) to deliver a comprehensive training programme for commissioners and finance staff across the public sector.

Courses will increase awareness and understanding of the third sector, help improve engagement and enable greater access to specialist knowledge that will benefit the delivery of public service.

The initial day-long courses, aimed at commissioning organisations new to working with the third sector are now available. The courses will cover:

The day will be interactive and case-study based to ensure the programme will be highly relevant and of real practical value to both senior officers involved in setting policy and finance and commissioning practitoners.
